Who we are

This website is run by ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, trading as ADI Leak Detection, a company registered in England with number 15870765. Our registered office is Unit L, BPI House, Cores End Road, Bourne End SL8 5AS. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

You can contact us about this policy or your information by phone on 0333 567 2650, or by post to ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, Unit L, BPI House, Cores End Road, Bourne End SL8 5AS.

Information collected when you visit this website

The website has no forms, accounts or logins, and we do not ask you to type in any personal information.

The website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. When your browser asks for a page, Cloudflare processes technical information about the request so it can send the page to you and protect the site from attacks and abuse. This includes your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, the type of browser and device, and the page you came from. Cloudflare acts as our data processor under its data processing agreement.

We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Cookies

We do not set cookies ourselves, and the site stores nothing else in your browser.

Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary security cookies, such as __cf_bm and cf_clearance, to tell genuine visitors apart from automated traffic. They are used only for security, are not used to build a profile of you, and cannot be switched off. Because they are strictly necessary, the law does not require your consent for them.

Information collected when you call us

When you call us, our telephone service records the number you called from and the date, time and length of the call. If we record calls, we tell you at the start of the call.

During the call you may give us details such as your name, address and postcode, a description of the problem, and, if there is an insurance claim, your insurer, claim reference and the loss adjuster's details. We use this to answer your enquiry, arrange and carry out a leak investigation, write the report, and keep proper business records.

Why we are allowed to use your information

  • Legitimate interests: running a secure website, answering enquiries, and understanding how people find us.
  • Contract: taking the steps you ask for before booking an investigation, and carrying out the work once booked.
  • Legal obligation: keeping financial and tax records.

Who we share it with

  • Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website.
  • Our telephone service provider, which handles calls to our number.
  • Your insurer, loss adjuster or loss assessor, when you ask us to send them our report or it is needed for the work you asked us to do.
  • Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed.
  • The police, regulators or courts, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information or share it for marketing.

Transfers outside the UK

Cloudflare runs a global network, so website request data may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and its data processing agreement includes the Information Commissioner's International Data Transfer Addendum for transfers that need it.

How long we keep it

  • Website request data is kept by Cloudflare only for as long as it needs for delivering and securing the site, under its own retention rules.
  • Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as we need to deal with them.
  • Records of jobs we carry out, including reports and invoices, are kept for six years after the job, to meet tax rules and in case of a legal claim.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. You can also object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and ask for information you gave us to be passed to someone else. Some rights depend on the circumstances.

To use any of these rights, contact us by phone on 0333 567 2650, or by post to ADI Leak Solutions Ltd, Unit L, BPI House, Cores End Road, Bourne End SL8 5AS. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
